Stop time! 

In this new piece, the Iranian artist Keyvan Sarreshteh imagines time as if it were a landscape. By means of various, fragmented elements, film negatives, broken tools and near-forgotten memories, he invites us to explore two parallel stories: those of a traveller in time and a narrator. Onstage, they share the same body, oscillating between reality and fiction, authenticity and illusion. The theatre Keyvan Sarreshteh creates is a highly sensitive one, which opens up the possibility of escaping from the fleeting nature of the present instant. Using half-finished sound recordings, the stage is turned into the manuscript of a journey in time, which is reaching its end.
