Dialogue between men

In this hypnotic work, two men, at odds with the stereotypes of masculinity, coexist, challenge and come to terms with each other. Reacting to political and social reality, they put their bodies on display, thereby reclaiming their respective physicalities, freed from all taboos. By means of dance that deploys its poetic language in a powerful way, the performers bring to the stage a vibrant duet. From out of it emerges the inherent sensitivity of their relational links. Performing in France for the first time, Ídio Chichava and Lulu Sala have earned a growing reputation for the finesse of their dance and choreographies in their native Mozambique. Here, they offer us here a remarkable illustration of their talent, with its foundations firmly rooted in total physical commitment, and the emotions.
